Home Remedies for Stretch Marks
Stretch marks are lines that are visible on the surface of the skin. They can be found mainly on the abdominal wall, over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks and breasts.

Potato Juice
The vitamins and minerals the potato has will help to foster growth and restore skin cells. Cut a potato and or take the juice of potato and rub it on the stretch marks for some time and let it dry. Wash it with lukewarm water.
Sugar
Sugar is a natural exfoliator of the skin and it has properties that will reduce the stretch marks in the best way. Add a tablespoon of sugar to few drops of lemon juice and some almond oil and apply it on the stretch marks. Everyday rub it on the stretch marks gently before taking bath. Continue for a month for noticeable changes.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is known for its properties to treat many skin problems. The various essential nutrients and active compounds can treat burns, it has healing and soothing properties which help to get rid of stretch marks.
- The gel of aloe vera can be directly applied on the kin and rinsed.
- Mix one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel, oil from 10 vitamin E capsules and oil from five vitamin A capsules. Gently rub this mixture on the stretch marks until fully absorbed. Repeat this process daily before shower.
Water
Your body needs water keep your body well hydrated as it protects and prevents many health problems. If body is well hydrated the skin will be regularly detoxified and the elasticity is restored that is very useful to get rid of stretch marks. Minimum 10 glasses of water per day is required to keep your body well hydrated. It gives softness and elasticity to your body and skin. If you avoid caffeine, tea, soda you can reduce dehydration.
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice also has many healing effects on the body and skin. With its acidic nature you can reduce stretch marks, skin problems, skin injuries, scars and acne. In circular motions rub lemon juice on the stretch marks and let it be absorbed in the skin and rinse after 10 minutes or take equal parts of lemon juice and cucumber juice and rub it on the stretch marks rinse it after it dries off.
Olive Oil
The nutrients and antioxidants that are present in Olive oil helps to improve may skin problems including stretch marks. Take slightly warm olive oil and massage on the stretch marks this helps to improve blood circulation and reduces stretch marks to a large extent. The oil should be absorbed by the skin so that the A, D, E vitamins are penetrated into the skin. An overnight application like a night cream can also moisturize and exfoliate your skin the application can be made of Olive oil, water and vinegar.
